The Renegades Lacrosse Program is for boys and girls in grades K-8 within the school districts of: Denville, Dover, Mine Hill, Rockaway Borough, Rockaway Township, and Wharton.

 

Grades K-2

Boys+Girls

Clinics, and introduction to the game of lacrosse, are run one day per week for six to eight weeks, depending on the weather and field availability.  They generally start once the weather warms up in April or May. The clinic ends with games at our home tournament in early June.

 

Grade 2

Boys

An alternative to the clinic for 2nd grade boys who have had exposure to the sport.

Practice: Up to 2 practices per week. Practice starts in Mid-April.

Games: The goal of the program is to schedule inter-squad scrimmages and 6-8 games with other towns.

Equipment Required: a black lacrosse helmet, lacrosse shoulder pads, lacrosse elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, a cup, a mouth guard, and a lacrosse stick. Cleats are strongly suggested.

 

Grades 3-8

Boys

Practice: Generally held 2-3 times per week, practice starts the beginning of March. 

Games: The goal of the program is to schedule between 12 and 14 travel games for each squad. 

Equipment Required: a black lacrosse helmet, lacrosse shoulder pads, lacrosse elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, a cup, a mouth guard, and a lacrosse stick. Cleats are strongly suggested.

 

Grades 3-8

Girls

Practice: Generally held 2-3 times per week, practice starts the beginning of March. 

Games: The goal of the program is to schedule between 12 and 14 travel games for each squad. 

Equipment Required: Lacrosse goggles, a mouth guard, and a lacrosse stick. Cleats are strongly suggested.

 

Renegades offers a multi-child discount, a discount to the family members of the active military, and a Boy’s Helmet Loaner Program (2nd-5th Grades).
