Renegades lacrosse, founded in 2002, provides the opportunity for young players to learn and participate in the game of lacrosse. The Renegades Lacrosse program is for Boys and Girls in grades K to 8 within the Morris Hills Regional High School sending districts. This includes Rockaway Township, Denville, Wharton, Rockaway Borough, and Mine Hill.
Mini Renegades Clinic includes the Kindergarten to 2nd grade level where we provide instruction and introduce boys and girls to the game of lacrosse. Generally the clinics are run one day a week for six to eight weeks depending on weather and field availability. Clinics generally start once the weather warms up in May.
The Renegades boys travel program starts at 3rd grade and ends at 8th grade. The travel program starts the beginning of March and concludes early in June. Last year we had one team at the 3rd grade level, one team at the 4th grade level, one team at the 5th grade level, one team at the 6th grade level, two teams at the 7th grade level, and two teams at the 8th grade level. The goal of the program is to schedule between 12 and 14 travel games for each squad. Practice is generally held 2 to 3 times per week with between 1 and 2 games per week. Equipment required for the boys includes a black lacrosse helmet, lacrosse shoulder pads, lacrosse elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, a cup, a mouth guard, and a lacrosse stick.

Our Motto: "Together"
We work TOGETHER – players, parents and coaches from all five towns work together by volunteering their time and talents, on the field and off the field, unselfishly for the benefit of the overall program.
We play TOGETHER – players prioritize team goals above individual goals and benefit from the satisfaction of competing and improving together as a team.
We grow TOGETHER – only by working together across the boys and girls programs, throughout all grade levels, can the program continue to grow and prosper in the future.
